Bill Blais - Data & AI Architect
With nearly 30 years in data and AI, Bill Blais has built a career at the crossroads of technology, strategy, and innovation. He began as a software consultant for Fortune 500 retailers, quickly earning a reputation for translating complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.
After earning his PMP certification, Bill led cross-functional teams and delivered enterprise-scale projects on time and within budget. His passion for data brought him back to database development, where he architected relational databases and data warehouses using the full Microsoft SQL Server stack—empowering organizations to unlock insights and make confident, data-driven decisions.
In recent years, Bill has embraced cloud computing and big data, designing advanced solutions in Azure and AWS. His current focus is lakehouse architecture with Databricks, blending the strengths of data lakes and warehouses to deliver unified, high-performance platforms for analytics and AI.
Known for his hands-on leadership, technical precision, and ability to bridge business and technology, Bill excels at cloud migrations, data pipeline optimization, and scalable architecture design. He’s a lifelong learner and mentor, continuously expanding his expertise in machine learning, data governance, and real-time analytics.
